Android Multimedia system in place.

Excellent sound and multimedia system, but too many regression points on the climate control.

The HVAC control Digital menu does not reply to any touch activation, and most “options” or “buttons” are greyed out.

=> All other software installed is ok, stating this is not a screen problem:

List of regressions:

Air Recycling/Fresh air toggle does not work: It stays at the position set before OEM removal.
The A/C compressor is always on, and cannot be turned off.
Ventilation +/- is not functional, and airflow is only controlled by “auto mode” upon “temp +/-” physical buttons, with no display of the selected temperature.
Dual Zone mode cannot be toggled.
The windshield defrost physical button on the top right will change the air vent from windshield to face.
It is impossible to direct air to feet.

The device was purchased from gps-access.fr on July 10, 2024.

30+ emails shared on a 4 months period and still no solution was provided by very poor support team who will circle around to prevent from having to refund.

Registred mail sent to the "business address" was refused, as these scammers probably moved to continue their illegal business somewhere else.

Findings:

The 26-pin clamp cable routing is wrong !!!

=> On the provided adaptor 3 out of 5 wires have no continuity between the male/female connectors.

The two “routed” wires have no guarantee to be relevant.

other connectors have not been checked for proper continuity, but will probably show more discrepancies.

Setup tweaking does not solve the multiple problems

Many hours spent tweaking the factory settings with password "7890" provided by gps-access.fr, with no success :(
